Springfield Mennonite Church is a multi-generational, evangelical church of believers located in a beautiful area of rural upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Springfield has a rich history, dating back to 1751, and is a member of the Alliance of Mennonite Evangelical Congregations (AMEC). We are seeking a full time solo pastor to lead our congregation of about 70 members.

Requirements

• Degree in Bible or theology

• Seminary is not necessary but encouraged

• Agree with AMEC statement of faith

• Male

• Meet the New Testament requirements as listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9

• Born again believer

• Called to pastoral ministry

• Communication, leadership, and organization skills

• Servant’s heart

• Desire to lead individuals to faith and disciple them to lead lives honoring God

Responsibilities

• Preach and teach the Bible

• Provide vision

• Work with Spiritual Council

• Pray faithfully for the congregation

• Connect with the congregation (visitations, conversations, etc.)

• Disciple and encourage deeper relationships with Christ

• Plan weekly worship services

• Work to build healthy families
